Objectively he had a good voice but he was so painfully not cut out to be a popstar. He screamed West End musical singer. Olly Murs wasn't exactly ideal either but he's a passable popstar, he really ought to have won that series.

Alexandra's good, she's just too overdramatic to be likeable enough to maintain a career. First winner of the show who was a phenomenal singer who could also be a popstar, she danced, she learned choreography for her weekly performances... but she came across as cocky and full of herself and I think that was her undoing when it came to staying on the good side of music industry people.

he had an album out in 2011 (AND IT FEEEEEEEEEEEEELS LIKE JEALOUSY ), seems to be acting atm. And changed record label last year apparently.

I'm surprised it went to #1 actually, thought he'd have slipped most people's minds

Matt has a great new album out(his 3rd) and is about to embark on a tour, so just because he is not in everyones face ,doesn't mean he is not still in the music business,I thought you guys were well versed in the music industryHe did pull out of Sycho(best thing ever)that is why he is now snubbed on the XFactor.
