Right,as long as I could communicate with people and the care was there that would not burden my family too much,then I would want to live.
To still be able to learn all what my family was doing and see children, whether they were my own or Nieces and Nephews growing up would help get me through difficult times.
It is actually amazing what can be done now to help with things like this even though the progress may only very small for some.

Were I to be likely permanently comatose or unable to communicate with others then that would likely be a different thing altogether.

I'd have my consciousness uploaded into a robot!! But then, the robot body's simple AI subroutines would slowly start to evolve, taking over my human mind, and eventually, the world. Dun dun deeeerrrrr.

Where there's life there is hope, no one knows what advances in medicine will be made especially in our current era where technology is advancing rapidly.
