..no I don't think it's all they talk about but it's often something that's shown in the HL shows so Danielle would know that these conversations happen and I don't understand why she's going so OTT in going to the diary room constantly to make a point of how it's not something she's used to...I don't even mind if she's playing a game, it is a game but I just don't think her game has much longevity and is becoming boring already...

..I also think that 'back in the day' of the early BBs, housemates were genuinely shocked if they were unpopular outside the house and were booed etc and didn't realise how they had come across in a negative way but I think it's more now that they really don't on the whole mind as much so long as they're noticed in some way/stand out because they know that will get them income from the show more than coming across as 'nice' or 'ordinary' type thing...

I honestly think Danielle is giving Catholics a bad name. Not all Catholics are as set in the rules as she is supposed to be, When she was in the group conversation about gay people getting married after Kimberly saying that she had many gay friends and thought everyone should have the same rights with regard to marriage Danielle started sermoning that its against the Catholic church so she disapproves of it. Kimberly removed herself from the group shortly afterwards quietly and without fuss. Danielle should do likewise if she is not comfortable with sex talk instead of running to the bloody Diary Room. I seriously dislike the girl and hope she is out first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Kimberly was very mature about it, let Danielle know her views but removed herself from the conversation instead of starting a battle that can never be settled.

Yeah I agree with everything you're saying. I suppose it must get boring having to talk to the same bunch of people all day for 3 months, and I do wonder if in the first few days you kind of try and get all the vulgar, gross, sexy stuff out of the way so as to make yourself immediately more familiar and basic with everyone, since it's something everyone would normally keep private or until months into a friendship...

...that or they're just models, self-proclaimed womanisers and maneaters, and just a bit shallow.

..yeah I just don't think that being perceived as homophobic/racist or generally just negative in any way is the worst thing for a lot of them, I think the worst thing is not having many threads made about them and being a bit more 'invisible' as characters and I honestly don't really take Danielle seriously because I think that's what she's doing to a large extent..I just don't find it that interesting already as a gameplan and I guess that's what it's all about..although it is getting her talked about so it's also a good gameplan..although I think her intentions are more to a road to NUTS magazine than they are to Jesus...

..I think that's the thing though, the possible 'faked' OTT reaction to it..I think any conversation would be boring if it was constant but they've only been in a few days so far and I guess the deeper conversations come as people start to get to know each other more..I also think that if you're listening to a conversation and only picking up on swearing or sexual content etc..you're missing a little insight into people's characters and concentrating on the wrong thing..
