I was in school and my headmistress came in and told us
i didnt understand it at the time, but when i got home
i was really selfish and i was moaning about the news being on instead of my kids programmes

I was only about 10 or 11 at the time but now i understand what happend on 9/11 now and it's really upsetting

And also the attack on the London Underground was sad

I was listening to the radio, heard about a plane hitting a building and laughed along with the radio people because they thought it was a joke or just some small shitty plane. Then, I turned on the TV and watched live as the second tower went down. The screams of the people gave me nightmares for the next few weeks, and then I found out about terrorism and then I became so angry by what was happening. I was an angry little 10 year old...

I was on the way home from school, and for a change both my parents were there, and my parents had already heard about it; they were discussing it in the car. I didn't know what they were talking about until I got home and my mum switched the TV on straightaway - and I basically watched the news and what exactly happened completely horrorstruck!

I was a school and when I got home it was all over the news, I was like OMG!
Then I was watching it for hours

When I went to school my teacher told us not to worry too much but that didn't help, it happened at 1:30am our time so we all saw it live and we all pretty much worried

But, and I know this may sound slightly bad, but after however many weeks it was of it always on it kinda lost it's meaning and I just didn't care anymore

Lol It went on for months becuase they started to uncover the terroism things. Its still on today anyway so I dont think its something people can get over, if you get what Im saying.

We got some threats and next year them G8 leaders are comin' over here so it's kinda like the setting of the London Bombings (sorry to bring that up if it effects anyone here) so I'm staying away from all modes of transport

Well, we'd already arranged our trip, so the week after it happened it was half term and we'd arranged to go to New York to meet my family! People thought we were insane going on a plane to New York after all that happened, but life goes on, and it did seem unlikely it'd happen again. So when I was there, I got to see the ruins and everything..
