Default Disappointed

As a Helen fan I feel so disappointed with her by the way she has been acting towards Jale. i do feel its wrong . i feel she needs to step back and just ignore jale and never speak about her because its making Helen look bad. i do feel Jale is acting Victim still though as there is no way she is that type of person who lets anyone treat her like rubbish.Jale is 33 and should know everyone should stand up themselfs. yes she is up for eviction every week but that didn't stop Danielle arguing with Helen and it didn't stop Luisa on her cbb series. if only we can send Helen messages because i'm gutted she lost her chance of winning big brother and i'm gutted she hasn't changed her reputation as she wanted, i think it made it worst for her. She needs to step back otherwise i would like her pass revoked and given to someone nicer in the house who is Winston even though he in the final anyway

It's hard for Jale to stand up for herself, as she will be taking on not just Helen, but Pauline, Toya, Steven and Ash. Jale needs to bide her time, things will right:-)

Jale is NOT playing the victim.
Everything she does or everything she say's get's jumped on.
Helen was so vile to her last night. I thought Jale acted in a very classy way.
Why should she stoop down to their level ?.
Sometimes it's better to say nothing.
Helen is a nasty piece of work.

"Playing the Victim"

What does that mean?

To me that means that someone is playing up to the cameras and trying to make a situation look worse than it really is. To "Play the Victim" a person needs to seek attention. To seek reassurance where none is needed.

Has Jale tried to make the situation look worse? Has seen looked for reassurance where none was needed?

For the most part Jale has kept to herself. She hasn't made much of a display. You don't see her in the diary room looking for sympathy. For the most part she keeps to herself and contains her emotions. The biggest out break we saw was when she was trying to calm herself.

To "Play the Victim" you have to paint yourself into a corner where you can react to what others do to you. In yesterdays show Jale was sitting, quietly eating, and chatting. Helen's attack came from nowhere.

Jale's reaction was more of a "where the ***** did that come from"? Which is what I'd imagine most viewers thought as well.

I've said this a few times already, in other threads, Helens and Jales postions in the house couldn't be more different.

Helen is queen bee, lots of support, a free pass and obviously likes picking on people. She has done it to Christopher, Danielle and Jale.

While Jale is fairly isolated, no real connection, constant threat of being evicted and has rarely said anything bad about anyone.

We are about 10 days in and Helen has gone from name calling in private, to name calling in public. Yet there has been no confrontation to explain the escalation.

Helen and Pauline are more typical of "Playing", as she demands constant attention and seems to need someone to put down.

if you look at her VT she comes across as strong and can stand up for herself, she was evicted 6 times for a reason! emma even described jale as nightmare tenant. at the end of the day 1 launch describing the day 2 housemates. now she acting all different. as i said was evicted 6 times for a reason and was described as a nightmare tenant

I'm sorry, but what has getting evicted got to do with "playing the victim" on TV?

If someone can be a little crazy, or irresponsible, if "real" life, that is no indication as to how they'd react in a pressurised environment when being set on by others.

And we have no real idea as to why she was evicted in the past. She could have been evicted 6 times for having loud parties and destroying the place. It could have happened when she was in her early 20's and still mad in the head. Who knows?

Everyone lies and bigs themselves up in their VTs. You don't get into BB by saying that you like washing dishes and have the occasional cuppa.

So being a 'nightmare' tenant somehow makes it ok to belittle and target her? being evicted several times could be for any number of reasons,it doesn't necessarily mean she is confrontational. How much of that VT is bravado anyway, like most of them

This meek jale is not what we were expecting, but I don't blame her helen and some others can be pretty ferocious .. I think she's being canny biding her time, she heard the cheers for herself and the boos for pauline.
I think the relationship between her and helen will improve once pauline has gone.

Or Helen needs to "man up" and try using that nasty tongue on someone that hasn't been isolated...but thats not going to happen is it...bullies only pick on the vulnerable...

If she stood up to her as danielle did she MIGHT back off, but is it worth the hassle?
I think she's handling it pretty well really.

I don't think it's as simple as that for Jale to stand up for herself. I get the impression she's intimidated.

It's nice for a Helen fan to admit that she's wrong for how she's treating Jale, though.

I think most of Kefln's posts are on the money.

I suspect that whatever Jale did in response to Helen (or Pauline, for that matter) would be deliberately misconstrued by certain HMs and used as 'proof' of whatever their latest ill-conceived paranoid theory may be. Even initially promising free-thinkers like Toya seem to have fallen foul of the stupidity-drugged oxygen circulating in the house currently.

By the end of last night's show, I felt vaguely nauseated by the actions of Helen (someone who I'd never heard of before BB and, once I did a bit of googling, I thought maybe deserved a break...she seemed okay at the beginning!).

Bullying is a word that gets thrown around far too easily but by previous BB standards Helen is getting a bit too close to the line for my liking.

Of course, we'll all be bored when it's resolved but at the moment my moral compass is twitching and my conscience doesn't like it!

Jale is being unfairly treated and I feel Big Brother needs to give her a warning for her behaviour. It is reminiscent of a playground where she is pushing her out and alienating her from the rest of the group.
