They don't need to do that if all the housemates are aware they are taking part in a game show and that Big Brother has the power. They do what they are told to do

Yes, but she was the last housemate to enter and had the best VT.

It's sort of like Simon Cowell putting the performance he wants to praise the most on at the end of the show and telling viewers they must vote for this person...

The new HM's by NOT evicting the potential winner (Mark winston) are acknowledging that they can't win BB.

Monday: The 3 new housemates have the "power" to evict one of the original housemates. Vote to save the new housemate you like best

Monday - Friday. The 3 housemates spend all week discussing which housemate to evict.

Friday: The 2 surviving new housemates have the "power" to evict one of the original housemates, on the spot.
