Yes a free vote on a poll that wasn't available to all that watch the show, what's your point?

This rule has been widely known as the most important rule of all since day 1 series 1.

So they can do whatever they want, make any decisions and changes they want as long as they don't deceitfully have the public spending money in a vote then ANYTHING is fair game.

They never have a twist that every single fan of the show will be happy with, people only enjoy the twists if it favours a housemate they like which is obvious, but to shout that everything's a big fix the minute it goes against your housemate is pointless, the twist that affected your favourite might be crap, it might be unfair and so on but it isn't a 'FIX'.

Big Brother reserves the right to change the rules at any time. Big Brother’s decision is final.
Let's hope this stops the whinging.

when its free, any idiot can vote, when it cost money, it is only people with jobs that vote, or very stupid people without jobs who spend their dole money on voting for a reality tv show

Nice soundbite............but NO unworkable in reality.

It's a gameshow and it MUST have some rules or what's the point, it would be total anarchy, a complete farce.

Especially when the public is told WHO GOES........YOU DECIDE and then we find eh...well actually NO you only decide when it suits us.

So whilst I acknowledge this BB can change the rules at any time..the reality is there are some rules that must apply to keep the main structure of the show intact. ie HM nominate and the public decides who goes (VTS or VTE) it's the publics decision not an ex HM or HM Friends and Family or any other stupid ill contrived last minute fix to ensure ratings stay high.

The result of tampering with ALL of the rules is what you now see before you, and it is the reason this show is losing it's core longtime viewers. We cannot bear to watch this show descend into the absolute meaningless farce that it sadly has become.

I would gamble this will be the last non Celeb BB as the viewers have had enough of being lied to and conned out of their hard earned cash.

So here we are in this latest series where absolutely anyone can win or be evicted at a moments notice, regardless of how they are playing the game.

A complete and utter travesty of the programme BB that has given me so much entertainment over the years.

The sooner it ends the better.......

WHO WINS........quite frankly I don't give a Dam.

That's just a cop out that means BB can manipulate the series regardless of the 'YOU DECIDE' mantra.

With no rules then you can lie to the public to gain money under false advertiseing.

So one of the BB rules should be to always tell the public the truth and what is going to happen.

The point is that they asked people to vote, and some took the time to do it, they were then repeatedly lied to about what they voted for afterwards. Lied to on the show, lied to on BOTS and lied to in the press releases. Rylan is shocked. Emma is shocked.

And you're still here playing the contrarian.

Does all of this not strike you as bizarre in the extreme? And the fact it all came about after the Save Ashleigh campaign and the petition to stop the removal of the public vote from the eviction process?

You keep asking people to prove something dodgy is going on and ask for motive, as if we're in a court of law here. But I can't understand how a fan of the show on a fansite can time and time again defend this utter mess of a show.

Every complaint they have this year, they seem to respond by doing something that is even more of a slap in the face to the viewers. There was a complaint about taking the public vote out of an eviction, so what did they do next? They did it again! Having done this, they know full well it led to a further breakdown in trust between the viewers and the show, and so what have they done now? They've blatantly lied to the viewers of the show.

Nevermind Ashleigh more often than not being involved in some way, have you ever seen such a complete and utter mess of a television show?

The three newbies did decide who would go but Pav and Zoe changed it at the last minute once Bianca had left.

What was unfair on the public about that?

Basically it comes down to who is going to create the most revenue, with Zoe, Pav, Steven and Ash up most voters would have gone for Steven, throwing a marmite housemate like Ashleigh into the mix means more votes will be cast.

The fact they had no say in an eviction at all to begin with. After having already complained and launched a petition about the first one with Marlon.

That's a completely different point to what I was discussing with Achilles though.

It was annoying that the public never had a say on those evictions yes but why should they change things because some sign a petition?

They have said about the Power Twist all along, the housemates will have more power than ever before, that covers their backs for those twists.

The last part of my OP answers that question anyway, Big Brothers decision is final.

And I already answered your questions about whether I think it's dodgy and my answer remains the same, NO it's all part of the Power Trip twist.

The fact is if Helens Pass had been revoked last night or another twist that never affected any of your or the people complainings faves then you all wouldn't be moaning about fixes right now. Not that theres anything wrong with being annoyed at twists that negatively affect your favourite housemate but that doesn't make it a fix, just a twist that you don't like.

I don't have a fave housemate and I'm still shouting it's a fix!

Yes, I know that. But they said repeatedly afterwards that they would be immune. They said it on the show, they said it on BOTS and they said it in the press releases. I can't recall them lying to the viewer like that very often. And people did vote on it thinking that it might mean something.

No, it's all great isn't it. The presenters are now acting shocked at what's going on, and every other forum and fansite is fed up.

I couldn't have cared less about Marlon, but I was against the removal of the public vote. The producers may as well have walked in and led him out on that Monday. As for Helen and her free pass, that was a bad idea from the start and that would have gone for anyone. But it has indeed been made all the more repugnant by the nature of the person.

What people are fed up with is being lied to by the production team. And you can see from the reaction of the presenters of the show that even they are now wondering what on earth is going on. But you persist in thinking nothing of it

Last years show i really enjoyed. BB did great!
But this years show is a right mess and that's down to the constant meddling from BB.

No it isn't great, the twists are too much, there's too much interfering with nominations, there's too much power being removed from the public.

I don't persist in thinking nothing of it and wish it was back to basics ad the way the show should be but I don't agree with the fix claims.

As for Emma and Rylan well maybe they expect too much being presenters? Davina never always knew what the twists would be as far as I remember.
