But the next minute Helen is doing people's hair, helping with make up etc.

She is better liked in the house than outside it.

True.

By 50% in the house, by 15% outside.

I don't NEED a bitch hooker to enjoy Big Brother. Helen hasn't ruined BB, but I voted no because I believe the decision to give her a pass to the final is one of many decisions that have made this BB less enjoyable than others. The whole point is that housemates nominate and public vote out who they don't like. That is what I like. If Helen doesn't get nominated fine. If she survives a public vote because public hate someone else fine. She hasn't been eligible to be evicted and I don't like the principle of that because it isn't fair.

I wasnt keen but yes she has definitely made the series along with some others, would have switched off a long time ago if it was just the bores Chris, Ashleigh & Danielle.

Let's not get carried away with blaming everything on Helen.

The production team have ruined this series. Not her.

Helen's been interesting in the same way that it's interesting to see a mass pile-up on the motorway. You look, but it's a little sickening and hardly what I'd call "entertaining".

it would've been fine without her, but I think she's definitely been one of the main additions to the series as a whole and made it more entertaining. her being there (or not) wouldn't affect my enjoyment of the show though.

Made it easily, I can't imagine how dire this series would've been without her. It's not been great, but I have enjoyed it...it would've been atrocious without her

Helen, Ashleigh, Danielle, Pauline, Toya, Steven and Mark have been the stars of BB15

The favourites are more often than not not the stars of the show, last year was an exception when Dexter and Gina were the favourites but in general just because some housemates are the most popular it doesn't mean they've actually been the stars of the show and brought the most, that's an objective fact that has to be looked at separately

Sure, you might not like what they've brought to the show and some may even say they've ruined it, but it is an objective observation that they are the stars of the show...because they just are.

Sam was the favourite for weeks.

The Dexter and Gina fans combined outweighed his support and he only won as an anti-Ginxster vote and because casuals are only interested in attractive, nice males

That's still only a tiny part of my post though so

You've just proven Jack's point I think. Sam winning shows he was a big favourite with viewers, but you wouldn't really think of him when you think of the main stories/events of that series.

So a fan favourite does not automatically mean they were the "star" or main contributor to a series.

I think the series would have been better without her. If you have a "fight night" then there is high drama, but Helen has not provided anything anywhere close to a fight night, she has just been a bitch for most of the time. Constant bitching does not create good drama, it just makes people feel ill, angry and causes hate. The huge row in BB9 was fascinating because it affected the whole house and was very dramatic and included a vile housemate being ejected. Steven and Kimberly was just a pathetic showmance. Caused lots of talking points but that's not I want to see, I want to see natural dynamics and housemates interacting with each other. A showmance is a fake relationship and it lead to fake drama.

Neither. I don't like her but it doesn't mean that I feel the whole series was ruined.

Her being there is annoying but I still enjoy Big Brother.

I think we may have seen different sides to people if she wasn't there. People may have relaxed more and had more fun if she wasn't there, however she has been a huge talking point and at times been fun to watch. In the beginning she was a nightmare! Part of me feels she spoilt it because she's squashed the others personalities, and i feel the way it's been manipulated by BB has only made it worse, saying that i have stuck with watching it but i'd say last years was better

She hasn't made the series but she certainly hasn't ruined it.

The ruination of the series is by BB themselves and Steven and Kimberley's sickening so called romance.

Helen is one of the real big characters of the series and has been entertaining to watch,it would have been far less interesting without her.
So although she hasn't made the series and really for me, no one has, she is an important and good housemate to have watched.

Made it. I hated her at the beginning, but looking back if she had not received the pass to the final(in which case I believe she would have probably been evicted in the 2nd or 3rd eviction), the house would have been completely Boring, and I would have probably given up on this series.

I agree that Helen's loud & is a huge character, but I disagree with people who say her presence drowns out the other HMs. In actual fact I think Helen's presence paved the way for many of the people who were very weak characters at the beginning (some people are just not interesting on their own when they have no one to react to). Many of the people who have now gained support/popularity/become interesting in the house got our attention because of how they have reacted to Helen (whether negatively or positively) - I point to Ashleigh, Christopher.

If Helen was not there I imagine it would have been a very dull series, we would have little to to talk about on this forum besides how fit Winston is.

I find loud and "big characters" boring. I prefer NORMAL people. The whole point of Big Brother was to watch a group of random strangers interact with each other and how they coped being stuck inside a house with no contact with the outside world. Normal people are more interesting because they are 3 dimensional human beings and not cartoon characters

We all love to hate Helen, right? If it wasn't her then either we would hate someone else or this season would be reallllllllllllllllllly boring.
