a generalization based on all the male housemates over the past 15 years....the vast majority are far less bitchy and argumentative than the women housemates

Gender of a housemate doesn't matter to me at all. As long as they entertain me or have positive qualities, then I'll like them. BB does tend to choose laidback guys and bitchy women though. Almost every female VT has something along the lines of 'I'm upfront and say it to your face' which is code for 'I'm a bitch who likes to put others down'.

If more women made it through to the final stages of the show, they would obviously have more chance of winning. What seems to happen, and it was obvious this year, is that women seem to be in all the early controversies and get evicted - and this was largely due to the women themselves, not the men

I don't think people do at all. You can see from reading comments posted on FB that what changes peoples opinions is however the show is edited, take Ashleigh for example, when she was being portrayed as a "baddie" the majority of the comments were negative towards her with alot of "you girls are just jealous bitches" thrown in here and there. Then she starts getting better edits and suddenly the majority of comments are positive with a whole lot of "Ashleigh to win" in there........Ashleigh is a stunning girl and woooooo lots of women like her now???? wat wat???

Channel 5 have the worst history of winners in the shows history.

Voters no longer vote for the person who entertained them all summer but the little quiet one who just happens to still be there at the end.

Sam winning over Gina ffs what a pisstake she would have made an amazing winner and would have made a half decent z z z z z lister. We need a winner that is memorable and kind of an ambasedor for the show till the next series like back in the day.

Each one of ch4 winners wether you like them or not brought something to the show where ch5 ones are so bad i always forget them
