It's simple enough... During a vote to win Helen is just stuck in a secret room and it boosted her popularity as it was designed to do and enough to get her over the finish line in first by 1.2%

Emma/Michelle/Gina/Dexter would have all topped the vote when they were in secret rooms. It boosts a persons popularity.

Also for anyone who thinks it was a fix please complain to ofcom and then lets us know when they tell you there was no fix and helen won fairly.
There is no fix, those who think it was ,should have picked the phone up,simple as that.

In your opinion maybe but not in mine. She won because the GBP will never vote the likes of Dermaglen Dottie ever to win BB, end of.

There was 1.2% between them. And even if people share your opinion on Ashleigh, you're avoiding the point about the court case in which she was meant to look like the hard done by woman and then the secret room which she was just placed in by the production team during a vote to win.

The whole point was to boost her votes in the final week. And it did.

So if they released voting figures and it said so you'd still just say it was fake then?

The thing is, if Ashleigh was put into the secret room, i doubt this conversation would be happening, because that would have been fairer than fair itself.
At the end of the day, Helen won because she had more votes at the end of the night, that is as fair as it gets, people can call fix and speculate all the conspiracy theories under the sun, the person with the most votes wins, this time around, it was Helen, it can't be changed, so why bother arguing over it?

1.2 based on 400,000 votes is pretty big, in fact it represents the size of a small town.

No, they wouldn't, would they?

They prefer the Helen's of this world. The next time we'll see her she'll be falling out of a club in Ibiza boozed out of her head.

She was a bully and most people know this I think there is a culture were it's more trendy to go against popular opinion then campaign set the ball rolling hay presto you have this fun think going were it's less about a deserving winner and more about people will be made lets do it what you really get is the wrong winner plus people saying there is no point to this show anymore it will happen next year it happened last year

Same here my favorite have only won once as well with Kate in bb3. Usually my favorite doesn't even make it to the finals so a 2nd place finish for my favorite is very good. That being said it was quite obvious that the producers agenda the last couple weeks was to push for a Helen victory. Now I certainly don't think they messed with the votes at all because they would get in major trouble if they got caught doing that so it definitely wouldn't be worth the risk. I don't know why they would want Helen as the winner though as I think it makes the show look bad so that part is a little confusing but they certainly wouldn't be first big brother to try and manipulate the results it happens in bbus all the time. BBUS will manipulate the comps or give the most liked person a special power but they would never do it for some one like Helen so I'll never get that part of it but oh well whatever I guess.

No sour grapes just a pass to the final, possibly no fix but a very unfair advantage. This has never ever been done before and people have the right to question it.

It's just as bad on DS and twitter, people screaming fix and manipulative editing.

Let's not forget how badly Helen was shown to be at times too, they were all edited badly at times but Helen came through in the final few weeks, she stayed true to herself but made an effort to not be so confrontational and mouthy and people love a journey. She won fair and square.

The way I see it is this and I could of course be wrong : Helen never faced a public vote as she had a pass to the final. Yes, the eviction crowd booed a bit for her from time to time even if she wasn't up, Yes for the most part in these forums she was disliked or hated but lets ask ourselves what EVIDENCE did we have that the general British Public, those who pick up their phones and vote didn't like Helen? Maybe many of them thought she was on a journey and came out a much better person? Many some of them felt sorry for her? Maybe many of the people who disliked the outsiders wanted one of the cool gang to win and seeing that it was only Helen and Ashleigh in the final two they voted for Helen.

Lets also remember that fans of Helens gang who had all been evicted would be more likely to vote for Helen than Ashleigh who had always had a problem with her and visa versa. I don't think its a fix I think we are all just very very surprised she won over the golden goddess. I for one of course am glad as I never ever wanted Ashleigh to win. Just my opinions of course

There was an OK! Magazine commercial that had Helen, Mark, and some D-listers in it. That commercial must have been filmed before they went in the house because it was shown during the breaks in the HL show/BOTS. When I first saw them in the commercial, I just thought it was kind of random, but it makes sense after reading this post:

http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...ummer-2014.htm

Richard Desmond owns Northern & Shell
Northern & Shell publishes OK! and owns Channel 5

I do not think BB fixed the result but as mentioned elsewhere well organized betting syndicates may have played a part. That 50/1 would have made the economics and risk of the coup worthwhile.

If correct this is not on Helen.

You have made many great posts this BB series and above is yet another.
I agree with all you say.

I also could believe the fake eviction twist was not originally intended to be of any benefit to Helen at all.
After all the then power housemates were not asked to evict 2 of their number, only one,.
Before they were asked to evict a housemate BB had already selected Helen to be the one to go first.

I think, they hoped Helen watching Ashleigh again from another room would have had Helen come back into the house absolutely fuming at her.
It backfired on BB if that was the case and that seems far more logical to me than actually wanting to edit Helen in a good way as to their original plan.
