He escaped Sudan ages ago, he died in the UK because he wanted what no other EU country is dumb enough to give; housing, money and comfort to loungers.

The point was put across none the less ickle white knight. Not every post needs to be an essay.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

What is it with tibb and nonsensical comparisons? Seeing alot of them recently. An animal being killed for nothing is different from a dude killing himself, it's hard to care. As above had he been killed running from Sudan it would be a sad story, but that wasn't the case. He certainly didn't come to the UK for the beautiful weather.

To be fair the mice aren't killed for nothing......they are vermin that carry diseases that are easily communicable to humans, particularly children. They also cause a lot of damage to homes.....chewing through wiring etc etc

A loss of life is a loss of life IMO and should be treated as such

A bit of perspective, I feel like this too.

Surprised he managed to kill himself falling off a lorry on the M25 , ave speed of 5mph thought he would probably wouldn't have even noticed.. Lol

Still to have made it that far and then fall at the final hurdle must be hard to take..

Quite sad really.

I don't imagine that anything is particularly "hard to take" when your brain is a 100 metre long red and grey smear...

It should be treated as such indeed, this topic is hardly something to celebrate but I personally find it difficult to care about every last person to the same degree, to me that isn't healthy. I'd much rather use my energy feeling bad about a story about somebodies wife with cancer for example, than wasting my time allowing an illegal immigrant looking for a free ride off of our countries back to weigh my conscience down.

I feel that the entire 'it's a person therefore it's tragic' mindset is what's allowing so much evil into the world but that's another topic entirely. Sympathizers probably think they are strong for the stances they take on various subjects but in reality they are weak and are to blame for the state society is in.

Nobody's forcing you to care, if you have no interest in the topic in discussion... However your initial insensitive glib remark was both unwarranted and unnecessary.
I find your opinion almost inhumane if I'm honest, cherie raising the issue of the mousetrap was totally valid here, in fact you maybe didn't intend it but the feeling I get at times is that immigrants are seen as below invasive rats in the country.
The language you've used in your post highlighted prompted my view on this.

It was more of a case of wanting to put my point across but not caring enough to write a paragraph about it tbh, and to me immigrants are not below invasive rats. If you come in legit, do your 9-5 and be a good person then you have the same rights as anyone else here. Not sure where you got an anti-immigrant impression from tbh, though I think we do have an issue of overcrowding in the country, but I'm all for some useless born and bred Brits being tossed out aswell, the entire 'keep Britain British' viewpoint is laughable when you look at what British society is like we need some outside influence if I'm honest.

@inhumane though... maybe... but being 'humane' (a ridiculous word in of itself imo) is in most peoples cases lacking the strength to think or do what needs to be done and it does nothing but enable people to do malicious things because there are no consequence for their actions. Although rats are more important than some people, like terrorists or criminals

So you have seemingly inextricably linked illegal immigrants with terrorists and criminals....

Maybe the act if entering a country a country illegally is a criminal act, however we have not much concept as to what drives people to risk life and limb to do this.
If you feel it acceptable to dehumanise them and justify it in your mind that they are nothing more than a worthless drain on resources that's your prerogative, myself as a 'sympathiser' I'm weak and I'm more than happy to be weak.

I think the reason its mostly guys is because they come here to work/obtain money to send back home to support their families. Our wages (even on the Ł2 or whatever per hour illegal immigrants get) are really high to them

So, what, Sudan is actually a paradise and these are just a few young trouble makers? It isn't a country that has been plagued for decades by civil war, poverty and famine?

Young men evidently have a greater opportunity to escape their country than mothers with children or older people do, I'm sure the route from Sudan to France is an absolutely brutal voyage and many get lost along the way that we never hear about. Like Vicky says these men may either be married and hoping to send money back or they may be unmarried and therefore not have as many commitments to anyone back home

we don't get to choose the life country or color we are born into.

again, that is grand but countries need to control and vet who we let in. there is a reason why the UK is attractive.
