I think it's nice. I went over Christmas and my doctor asked how my Nan was because she's been ill and I thought it was really considerate.

Sounds like a good old fashioned family GP to me.
If our doctor asks me how hubby is that's fine..takes about 30 seconds of my allotted time. My lovely Kiwi doctor used to give me loads of hugs before she went back to NZ. Very caring young lady. I am all for getting patient/doctor friendly banter going, puts you at ease. |
