I'm not shocked but disappointed tbh, I understand they have to retain a job and all that but Perez was given actual info that could influence him in there.

Katie's column is totally different, imo all she did was state her views, she got no info.

How do we know KH or any of the other HM's weren't also given info and told to keep quiet about it? Just because Parez has spoken out, doesn't mean the rest of them got nothing.

Why did you emphasise on KH?

If Patsy spoke out about the spray tans, Pricey about the hair, Hopkins about the column, wouldn't they have said something about receiving outside info? I don't know about the others but I doubt those three had outside info

'No outside contact' might have gone out the window a long time ago but this is still a lot worse than anything that's gone before. Letting housemates know news from the outside world defeats the whole point of the BB experience, it keeps you in touch with current affairs, you're no longer isolated from what's going on in the real world. Might as well have BBC News 24 rolling all day and night in the house. I didn't like Hopkins having a column either, but her sending out information to the outside world from the house is different to receiving information from the outside world to the house.

I agree, but since BB went to channel 5 they changed all the rules. There are way too many twists and allowances made for the celebs.

They all had their perks, i think. Otherwise BB would never be able to get any celeb to appear.

I totally agree with you Vanessa. If BB is desperate enough for a celebrity, they will give in to their demands whether it's money or "outside" perks.

You can argue the relevancy of the types of outside access each celebrity got, but it really doesn't matter. Maybe Perez got info on what the outside thinks and he used it inside the house. Maybe Hopkins got to write articles about the housemates and was able to influence votes. Maybe Patsy and Pricey's tanner/hairdresser whispered info into their ears. Who knows what Calum's dentist told him? Anything is possible when BB allows outside contact. .

Is it so hard to get celebs on the show that BB has to "sell their soul" to get them in? Pity.
