Yeah I found Russell Brand goes to Hollywood a bit surreal, he's a quintessentially British type of character - but I suppose that's why they lapped him up over there, he's a Victorian geezer with a sex life and a former drug addiction that tabloids love all in one - helped that he shacked up with Katy Perry for five minutes too...

James Corden though, I just do not understand. Well done to him and all, but I cannot fathom his career whatsoever.

This could be said for any host on any show any where. At the beginning they are fresh and new, in the end they are not. How is this news?

..I think that Americans will get him in the way that Ricky Gervais has also been successful there/I think James has the same 'adaptability' with his humour and I think he'll do well...personally I don't find him funny at all but I wish him the best of luck..great early guests/Tom Hanks and Will Ferrell soon.....
