How is this a physical altercation?
It says "to the amusement of other housemates" and that it is understood that even Joel did not complain to Big Brother about it.
It just sounds like their usual drunken joking about - Aaron jokingly flirting, Joel rebuffing sometimes in a jokey way too, but not in an angry way. I always just saw it as some sort of playful jokey thing they had going on between them. I never saw any indication that Joel was ever seriously annoyed by Aaron, they seem to get along quite well and have lots of little chats together.
Unless there is more to it, and unless the article is wrong and Joel did actually complain about the behaviour then this seems way ott. BB should have asked Joel if any of this behaviour made him uncomfortable, or else just asked Aaron to tone down the antics if they thought he was going a bit too far.
There must be more to the story.
