The fact he had seen her less than a week ago made his reaction even more stupid.

Wow that's a depressing and embarrassing read in equal measure. Christ.

To be fair he needed this message from home. I know he's only been in there a week but the others don't need that message as much as he does. The others don't count because they haven't had it as hard as Simon. He was evicted on launch night and so he deserves all the special treatments that's available. None of the others got evicted on launch night so they don't know how badly he wanted to stay and even though he was given a second chance he still deserves it because his needs are what's important in that house, not anyone else's needs.

I know he messed up with Eileen but he paid for that by having a fake emotional breakdown and then when he was given another chance he messed up with Chloe and he paid for that by having another fake emotional breakdown.

What the rest of the selfish housemates don't understand is that Simon has lived half of his life and they have many more years left than him so that makes his needs more important then theirs.

None of them actually understand how draining it is to keep having fake emotional breakdowns and if they did they probably still wouldn't suffer as much as Simon has.
