There are reasons for people to have voted someone they disliked into the bunker. For example, if you disliked all the choices then you might go with Marc, thinking that he'd be the most satisfying to watch being stuck in with the "legends", maybe getting a taste of his own medicine.

And even if we assume all his votes in that poll were from people who liked him, he was up against Sam and Simon. Let's keep this in perspective. That doesn't mean the voting public liked him more than the housemates who weren't nominated at the time.
