I could point you to the words he didn't understand the meaning of and his misunderstandings of other things as proof that he wasn't that intelligent but I won't bother because I know some will not pay attention to or take my comments on board.

Of course he was intelligent......articulate, quick witted, humorous, devious, charming, duplicitous, annoying, self deprecating, addictive viewing and not only able to read every body and every situation but also gave really good advice to people who trusted his opinion.. A BRILLIANT HOUSE MATE
