I don't like Danny, but he did what he was asked to do. he didn't manipulate anything. It was obvious they were all going to agree on Sam over Jack or Chloe.
I see it differently, once Joel had said that, all of them could have followed his line.
he didn't and couldn't know for sure they would not do so.

I would have loved to see what would have happened as Vicky said, had they all said the same as Joel and refused to make a decision.

Joel made the very first comment the minute BB revealed the twist, anything could have happened,he couldn't know what would.
he still totally stood by his decision however even when they all caved in after Danny spoke.

Right...So ye missed the bit where Fanny mouthed an instruction to Dohl telling him to pick Ham, ( or rather, the fifteen grand for his prize fund ) It's pretty damn obvious that Fanny Wisker has been convinced by the earlier intruders in the house telling him he's doing very well with the public. Why, I have no idea as every time he opens his mouth it's to scream at someone to stop shouting at him or 'SHAT APP'...'SHAT APP'. The guy couldn.t hold a conversation with a string pull action man...just the type to win BB. Why is it that all the past BB heads on the after shows are English? Is it perhaps because all the Irish BB HM's over the years got real jobs in TV and newspapers? Sorry I have to discount spiral as we still can't find the A'hole (his own) that he disappeared up. More later, p'r'aps.

I don't usually like Joel but he went up in my estimations last night. What Joel said was totally spontaneous. He was the only person who was shocked at the unfairness of it.

Yes, Danny totally manipulated that vote, it was horrible to watch.

Joel actually told Danny and Christian to make the decision, because he wasn't going to. Christian reminded Joel of that in the garden. So Joel opted out, but wasn't averse to the decision being made by others. Joel also gave the opinion that he wanted to keep Chloe, so he didn't entirely opt out, did he?
Danny did not manipulate the vote, he said he was closest to Jack and Chloe, which was true. The others went along with that. Where was the manipulation exactly? Was Joel manipulating as well then when he said he wanted to keep Chloe - even though he was making a principled stance and supposedly not being involved?

He was just thinking out loud. The fuss the OP made over this is laughable.

The others were always going to say Sam but they didn't want to speak up. Someone has to take the bull by the horns...Joel bottled it and left it to the others to make them look bad...just like he always does.

So annoying. Spends all week asking people what they would do in serious cash bomb situations, then when one arises, decides to rid himself of any responsibility.

I agree, he did his best to worm out of being part of the jury but relished the role of judge.

You cannot walk away when BB insists you stay on the sofas.
Joel refused to vote, then once the others did vote a decision was made and it was bb who told Joel to stand up and say who the group had chosen, still without any vote from him.

He kept his integrity and avoided the whole group having further punishments too.

How was that a vote, he couldn't vote to keep someone they had to vote one out.

I said that he kind of voted. Some of your comments say "Joel said he wasn't going to vote at all" etc. but to basically veto one person is sort of a vote for the other two. He didn't stay completely out of it like your comments suggest.

They all should have declined to vote anyone out, it was a sh@t move by the production company, they knew Sam would be the one they picked no matter how much money was on her card.

I think that may have come about had Danny not taken over and made his reasons for choosing Sam, then the rest followed, except for Joel.

I really did hope when Joel said he was not going to vote at all as to it,that just about all the others, like Nick,Cristian and Jack,at least, would have supported Joel on this.

No way would Chloe have gone against Danny.

I'm glad Joel's composure and vocabulary piss people off. Exposes those who feel threatened by younger intellectuals or have issues with certain politicos. Fun to read.
In the game, his moves have been brilliant and he deserves the win. The rest are huge hypocrites acting like they are best friends for the camera's while they have their heart set on the prize.
Be honest. Go Joel.

The issue is with how disingenuous he is.

A 19 years boy Joel with immense integrity.Instantly he noticed there is unfairness in this eviction and he objected to it.The others especially Danny was keen on the 15 k and was happy to throw Sam under the bus.Danny never even said a word such as 'this is unfair.

Total disgusting they are and only Joel got my respect.I wanted Marc to win but now i will happily give Joel the WIN.He deserve it.Watch Danny and Cloe will bitch about Joel and start argument to bring him down in the next few days.

A 19 year old manipulative wannabe politician who saw an opportunity to abstain from voting and take a moral position knowing full well he'd look better than all the others by doing so and doing everything he could to make a point of it. No integrity, just sliminess. No wonder we have the politicians we have when people can't see through something so obvious.

Danny recognised that someone had to make the decision. And he was the one to do it. I don't like the guy but he was far less manipulative tonight than Joel was.

They were all going to vote Sam out regardless. The idea Danny caused that is f'n ridiculous. The whole point of the producers doing that was because they knew the originals would vote out Sam over Jack and Chloe. And Joel knew it. He just wanted to be seen taking a moral stance. How people cannot see through that is actually hilarious to me.

Christ Almighty.
