..Kaz.....awww he's gorgeous Kaz, it's easy to see what a pretty dog he will be ..well, only in a few short weeks with his diet and grooming, that sparkle will come back...I know he's had a loving owner before but now he has a family, his first family and how happy his life is going to be...fate eh, with your other dog's immediate acceptance and welcoming of him..mind you, they're probably thinking..when mum's fattened him up, I'll have him for dinner/ooops....

..but yeah, really pleased for you all Kaz, Prince has found his kingdom......(keep the pics coming btw..)....

Thanks Ammi,Teddy has been more of a pest than Prince,he will not leave him alone,lol,he just wants to play with him,but it's nice to see them get along,even though Prince isn't really in a playing mood yet,I'llpost some more pics when he looks better.

Thanks Joey,he is 10 now,not sure of the life span of these spaniels,hopefully whatever time he has is good for him.

He's a very handsome boy and i'm sure you will bring him happiness as he will bring you happiness.

10 is the start of his average lifespan,10 to 14 is I understand the average but some get past that to 15 and 16 and beyond as well.

If he is healthy and happy and he will certainly be that with you,he won't want to be going anywhere soon.

The great thing is,his later years will most likely be his happiest now.

Even though he's been in the wars he looks younger than 10, I'm really looking forward to the transformation, happy teddy has a new friend too

Teddy's been a pain in the ass tbh,he just wants to 'ride' himZane came running in yesterday saying,"come look at Teddy twerking" we laughed our heads off,that's one way of putting it I suppose. I hope his fur grows back quickly Kizzy,he's such a mess,luckily most people know us ,so taking him for a walk is not so embarrassing,I'de hate to think people thought he was neglected by us.

Took him to the vets today,he is ok but has got arthritis in his back legs as the vet said he has been 'over walked' he will need pain relief for that at some point,but other than that the vet said, some good food,plenty of rest and TLC,will see him come good,so fingers crossed for the old boy,and thanks again everyone.

That is wonderful Kaz, what a great dog! I'm sure he will be a great addition to your home.
I don't have dogs myself Kaz BUT for the past 3 yrs since my sister got two patterdale terriers i have taken them out each morning for 2 to 3 hours a time five days a week. I love those dogs and always look forward to Monday mornings going to get them to take them down the park.

lucky prince finding u when he did, an amazing thing u have done taking in a 10 year old dog and im so pleased hes got a fairly clean bill of health. cant wait to see some updated pics in a month or so x
