Its weird because in school I on hug around girls and my closest mates were girls but now I only have 2 friends and they are guys. So yeah the answer is no lol.

Mix really, at school I always talk to and hang out with girls and boys. Mostly female friends outside of school though.

I have a fair mix. 3 or 4 straight males, 3 or 4 gay/bi, 4 straight females, one rough lesbian.

...most of my closest friends are female but I do have 3 quite close male friends/two of which I have known since back in the teenage years....one is straight and two are gay...

When I was young, most of my friends were female, but from about my thirties onwards the balance swung the other way. I still have a couple of really good female friends, but most of my friends are male.

My sister's fiance is probably the closest to being a friend, but I wouldn't really call him one, like if he wasn't with my sister I'd never see him again.
