I think it's great to allow kids to recognise bigotry and understand when they are being unfairly discriminated against.

Teaching kids to respond to ignorance an oppression? priceless.
It's ridiculous to expect adults to shelter kids from the prejudice they face once they are older from those who seek to govern their country.

Cynical manipulation of children by adults. Doesn't matter whether I agree with the message or not. So it's okay to act ignorantly so long as the person you're reacting to is ignorant? Nice message... and not one kids that age would really understand anyway.
