The new world / post colonial countries just haven't had as much time to make a mess yet. You'll get there, don't worry. The US quite blatantly peaked in the 20th century, for example... give it a few hundred years and it'll be well on the way back down.

We are on the way back down I'd say atm we're hovering somewhere over the early 20th century, we have the service industry and hospitality but little industry. proletarianisation is in full swing.

Did anyone else watch that documentary last night on how ISIS recruit people in the UK?
One very brave Muslim woman infiltrated a woman's group and got caught.

Yes I saw it she was very brave, I only caught the last 20 mins though.
I do question the motives of showing this now however, if the onus is on showing the Muslim community that they are not all viewed with suspicion then this sort of countered that.

I would like to know what happened to that very important information before it was shown to the viewing public. Was M15 interested and if not why not? were these people arrested? From the sound of things they weren't.

Presumably everything got passed to the authorities. I think they said that they couldn't name one of the women for legal reasons so perhaps she is now under investigation? It was very brave of her and its very concerning that such groups exist

They were study circles of female Islamists who encourage girls to travel to Syria, preach hate against the West and against Jews and celebrate ISIS fighters and atrocities. That is certainly what is involved in radicalisation.

Right, I don't think the summation was very accurate then, I'm still not comfortable with the media expose. Did it not say 2 weeks after filming ended it was the Paris bombings? Would any investigation actioned not still be ongoing if there was any real threat?

I presume that filming ended because she was caught and the extremists cut off all contact with her. I expect the authorities are taking the footage very seriously and are investigating these women.

I know it ended that way I saw it, my query was why they have released the footage so quick?
What is the motive, to compound headlines like the 1 in 5 stat in the sun?

You can destroy an idea. It's impossible. There's no destroying ISIS.

We know there is radicalisation, whipping up numptys like the one who harassed a young Muslim woman on a train is not an intelligent solution to the issue.

Funny how different people have such different views depending on their outlook.
