.David Bowie was cremated 2 days after he died...neither his wife or his son were present....he requested no mourning and no press...Angie Bowie is no longer his wife and has not seen him since 1980, to involve herself with the family at this time would be disrespectful to his present wife and their young daughter....her son decided to distance himself from her when he was in his 20s not when he was a child.....they live in New York and she is in UK....had she left the house this week the gutter press would have hounded her and turned David Bowies passing into a circus....people on here accusing her of being a bad mother and being disrespectful don't know what they're talking about .....it's so silly

Having just watched tonights highlights, I think she was just a bit kranky after a bad nights sleep. This I can sympathise with, Im also kranky when tired. Im glad she stayed though, I find her eccentric ways quite entertaining.

..yeah I agree Susie, she had, had to leave the bedroom to try to get some sleep and it wouldn't have been as comfortable on the sofa so she probably would have had a restless night...(also maybe got a bit wound up in herself with the noise etc and was annoyed so that wouldn't have aided a restful night..)...I was quite disappointed that the ones who knew why she had left/the ones in the kitchen at the time..Daniella etc..?..hadn't gone back into the bedroom and told the others because it's not just about being older, it's the shock that she's had also to be considered...it's funny how they seemed so protective toward her/her needs a few days ago and yet now, not so much..?...


..I think also it would be nice if BB considered giving her a separate sleeping room like they have with David...

Great post - Some of the other HM's are pig-ignorant in this respect, with NO consideration for others and NO respect for the older HM's needs.
