I miss the days when we'd get three newbies in week 3 and then another five around week 5/6 in a twist (like the HND), so I'd say yes

(Also Jason I think late late entries work well)

Kinga/Nikki both brightened up the final weeks of BB6 and BB7. I wouldn't mind someone being added in like 2 weeks before the final.

I can confirm the Final 6 would be Makosi, Saskia, Derek, Kemal, Craig and Kinga.

Nikki wasn't a newcomer tho. Stop being so silly.

But yeah Kinga was an exception as she practically tried to cram 11 weeks worth of the Big Brother experience in 11 days

If you got a crazy bitchy hm in on Day 57 with a final on Day 71 it would work well

I also felt really bad for Kinga on the final highlights when she was drunk and was in the DR nearly crying asking them why they didn't put her in on Day 1

In fact, one of the things I used to love most about C4 BB was the anticipation for week 5's eviction, where Davina would usually introduce the series' big twist (HND, Fake Week, Heaven vs Hell) it was always really exciting and was actually a big, creative, innovative (okay maybe not with the divide 2.0) twist...now we get ****ty little 'twists' that are pathetic every ****ing week

Oh how I miss those days

I miss when twists were these big events as something to look forwards to (Bedsit, Secret Garden, HND, Golden Ticket, Ex-HM Return, Fake Week, Divide, etc), nowadays it's these crappy mini nominations based twists to save their favourite.

I'm glad she got her experience in the end. She got to do the mid-series twist, she got to re-enter and do a nominations round, survived 2 evictions and made the final so she essentially got the whole experience condensed into the 15 days she did.

nnn at her getting more votes to win than Craig who'd been in there since the start and she only entered 10 days prior <333

Queen

I'm glad that happened even though I prefer Craig. Her leaving in a mid week eviction in her everyday clothes whilst smelling of Chinese takeaway would have just summed up her experience.

I guess, but Secret Rooms are done to death now. The last time a Secret Room felt like an event was the Safehouse in BB14 (that was amazing and actually felt like a C4 twist with the excitement and anticipation behind it)

They need to not with secret rooms. If they wanna save their fave so desperately do the 'Immunity Weekend' if they must.

I just wish they wouldn't meddle at all. If their fave go, they go. Bring new HM's in if it gets too dull or something. The twists in BB15

I don't mind manipulation if it isn't too serious. Marc/Perez manipulation was severe but the way C4 did it/attempted it was okay. Like the immunity challenge meant for Grace in BB7 (even though Lisa won it) and Charley's fake eviction at the end of fake week in BB8 were good attempts.

Oh yeah IA. C4 were so much more smart in manipulating it for their faves in a way that it didn't ruin the format entirely like BB15/16 did. Also nulling and voiding people's nominations as punishment in order to save Charley in BB8. Things like that are smart. But C5 just take it too far.

Biannca and Shanessa are the most robbed newcomers by far.

Actually, to be fair the Time Bunker was probably the closest to C4 esque excitement I've had about a twist since the show moved to C5

4In4Out however remains the worst series-ruining twist ever, knocking the quad eviction off the top spot

4 in on it's own would have been good. 4 out could have happened on the Tuesday night before the Thursday night final.

Don't suggest they ever repeat the quad eviction again ESPECIALLY under vote to evict (which it would be atm). It is series ruining
