Hopefully they'll grant this - it's very ambitious but BB are known to have a good relationship with Borehamwood council. It's the change that the house/set have been needing for a while.

Very well spotted to the OP - these applications have only been sent within the past few weeks. This has given me a bit of hype for the summer tbh - if this is granted then they need to focus on fixing the other problems with the show (nominations, format, live feed etc). Hopefully this is a sign that Frow's "big changes" are actually going to be acted upon.

Yeah I noticed these too. They're from mid-January. It's kinda making me excited for BB17 ngl. But it really says a lot when the exterior of the house is the thing getting me excited for the series, when on C4 they'd make changes yearly and they weren't much of a big deal. But I guess that just shows how much we're in need of a new exterior tbh

Maybe they'll enter the house directly opposite Emma's stage now. So no need for stairs, just a runway straight across and then just a screen across the front face of the house.

Those saying "please enclose the stairs", do you inside? So, like, when HMs enter they'd go down stairs and through a door, like in C4?

The left hand side part is labelled as a new section of the house, it has definatly got two floors and it seems like there is an entrance on the new Presenters catwalk that is on the ground level to the new house section. So they might actually be entering through there instead of the via the stairs they use now. I think they might do a two house twist with it being the first season with such a big space.

For those who are finding the plans hard to understand, this might make it easier to read
