Perfectly enjoyable and a very good series. And Kate was a great winner (contrary to Macie's ceaseless protestations )

Kate was a brilliant winner, and one of the most underrated imo

She actually at least had fun and had a good friendship with Jonny the Geordie, she was more of a tomboy then anything else and the divide was making of her as a winner of BB. She was overshadowed by Jade and Alex (damn he's one of BB's most underrated housemates, he was a bit whiny at the start but as the weeks went on he came into his own and had fun and didn't he end up finishing 2nd). But Kate probably along with Brian BB2 is the most deserving of winning their BB's.

BB3 was helped in the long run that it was short and impactful. That it had Jade in it. That it was the first BB that I would say was in the top ranking, BB1 was middling and BB2 was fine. But BB3 would be just kept out of the top 3 best BB's by 6,5,7.

I agree with Macie, Kate's basically everything that should make her a non-winner as she is arrogant, blatantly in love with her looks, has shown jealousy when Sophie comes into the house, tried to start up a showmance with Spencer, and has a repulsive dynamic with Jonny.

So not only is she boring, but she's got all those stuff above going against her too for me.

I'm not long into the third week and it's been very good so far.

Alex is the star of the show though, without him I think that this series would've been dead in the first week which has been it's weakest week so far imo.

I didn't think it was too spectacular based on the first two and a half weeks

Tbf maybe it's just not for you, I have it with BB7, and I know that some can't get into BB5 or BB6 either.

We all have that series that no matter how hard you try to get into it you just can't do it even though a lot of people love it, I personally find it frustrating when it happens to me, but overall it's not a crime and it's better to be an individual than follow the crowd if you don't feel that way.

Alex and Jade were the stars of the series.

A scandal that Johnny and Kate finished in front of those two on the final night.

Tim was also a great housemate.

Disliked Adele

One of the best series.

I don't know but I'd hazard a guess that that final was the biggest ever BB audience, I remember everyone was talking about it.

Well I've heard it peaks in Weeks 4-6, so there's hope yet. And tbf, it's certainly more entertaining than the start of BB1 and BB2.

I've never watched BB1 (I will get to it eventually though) and with BB2 I quit watching it because I fell ill at the time and I couldn't get back into it, however what I did see of it did seem okay, I remember liking Narinder a lot.

BB1 and BB2 are obviously a completely different viewing experience to BB5-onwards and I don't think they compare well tbh.

As I said before it gets better after the 4th eviction. The drama starts to get intense from then onwards up until a certain eviction.

Just in case you don't know the eviction order I'll put it on spoilers.

Spoiler:

It's between Spencer's eviction and Adele's eviction when it hits the fan. That's when you'll see the Vs Sophie stuff, Adele V Jade which lead to Adele's heavy boos.

Interesting that despite people saying only Adele got boos and was the first people who did....Mel from BB1, Elizabeth, Stuart and Dean from BB2 and Lynne, Adele and Tim got boos.

People seem to think it all started with Adele.

Yeah that's right. I think people often say it was Adele though because hers were by far the worst boos at that time (I think?), it was a whole new level of booing, which would probably be seen as a normal crowd reaction these days

I'm not sure whether to start BB3 again... I properly watched the first two evictions in October and I can barely remember it now. But tbh I can't be bothered to watch it again, when I don't remember it being that good anyway and the best is yet to come.

BB6 will always be my absolute favourite but... In terms of back in 2002, I'd watched BB1 and BB2 throughout, albeit without too much commitment, but BB3 was the one that got me well and truly hooked on the franchise. It made excellent viewing and I agree with all those above who have said it was an iconic series. I fully intend to watch it back again and some point.

Many iconic/ memorable housemates and moments. Alex was my personal favourite, but after him you've got the likes of Adele, Alison, Jade, Jonny, Kate, Lee, PJ, Sandy, Sophie, Spencer and Ginger Tim. Great viewing.

Kate is well overrated.

Jade or Alex should have won, they were the stars of the series.

I like when you watch back now and when someone is evicted they get to stay in the house for an hour and pack their suitcase themselves in that time.

The BB3 final was the peak of Big brother.
