Go to any high street in the UK, pick up a rock and throw it and you'll hit a busker that is as good or better than him. He's just a busker with a record contract and he isn't worthy of any accolades when he's basically an Aldi brand version of Ed Sheeran and we don't need him, never mind his bargain bin clones.

Say what you will about Lily but her music is certainly more memorable and interesting. James Bay is just a one hit wonder who's only gotten as far as he has because the public seem to be obsessed with boring af white guys with guitars and no sense of individuality and a uniform approach to music.

You can't swing Ellie Goulding in a Record Company lobby without hitting a multitude of Singer Songwriters. EVERY year there's some boring man with a guitar nominated that's just the same as the boring man with a guitar that was nominated the year before.

I agree with you on James Bay being dull, but tbf so is Lily Allen imo who often also talk sings as I like to call it.

And out of interest are you against any white male playing the Guitar? I'm only interested because I know that some people have a weird issue with it even if the act is decent.
