Love him or hate him he's the one who has contributed to the series the most. Without him it would have been a complete snooze fest. If he goes I'm not watching anymore, because I believe he at least deserves to be in the final.

As to him being in BB, wrong show for him, or at least BB has made a mistake in lowering the tone of the show so much to try and compete with all the other rubbish reality shows by not only paying them to appear but then also pandering and encouraging them.

I still dislike him. HOWEVER the one area that I have changed my opinion on him is he is actually not stupid which I immediately thought he was. Which is annoying. He's actually putting on a deceptive act of stupidity and ineptitude. He's following the mantra, the art to being powerfully clever is to pretend to be stupid. It conceals how dangerous, sociopathic and what an emotional vampire he is. Bear may not be academically or book intelligent, he may not be able to discuss Nietzsches Ubermensch concept or discuss String Theory but he understands how to get from a to b in the most successful manner and outmaneouvre those who on paper have more going for them.


He's also emotionally highly intelligent IMHO. Which is why he's able to infuriate the like 's of Ricky Sam and make so called strong woman Renee cry. Even favourite Biggins became irate and demo started a not so cuddly side when he lost his rag with Bear. Bear understands people, what makes them tick and how to use information to his advantage. He was able to reel Renee (a woman about 50 and a fearsome Mob wife) in and totally dominate her when he knew she fancied him. He even managed to deliberately annoy Emma Willis!! His calm lack of reaction to Aubrey spit gate was also measured and clever. He never used it against her which EVERYONE else would have done. He's slowly wormed his way into gaining trust from her to the extent she now quite likes him. He wound up Heavy D for the HL show the day before eviction to troll Lewis and Katie and sat back safe in the knowledge it would get heavy D evicted. Bear is manipulative but can turn on charm and could get any one, he seems to be one of those guys who probably could pull a really intelligent PhD student from Cambridge University or a 46 year old business woman despite only being a scaffolder by trade. I can imagine him seeing a woman rejecting him as a challenge and wooing her wearing her down until she agreed to date him.


You don't go from being a pips squeak contestant on Shipwrecked 2011 to being in Celebrity BB 2016, the least famous hm but the most talked about. He knows exactly what he's doing and he's no one's fool.


Grrrrrrr. Its like when I discovered HM that I dismissed as thickos such as previous winner Geordie Shore Scotty T had Grade A* Alevels in Physics Maths and Chemistry and a degree in marine engineering from a top University and bb16 Marq held a degree in chemistry. Grrrrrrrrr.

I totally agree he's not stupid but that makes me admire him even less. If he was stupid there'd be some excuse. He is absolutely one of these people who knows exactly when they've hurt someone but genuinely don't care. Definitely a sociopath.

I think i've gotten used to him. I think he's been a lot quieter these past few days like he's running out of energy.

I don't really have much to say about him, to me he's pretty much a non entity, and he'll soon be on a show that i have no interest in watching.

So in terms of my opinion now......well......he's a twat of the highest order, i can't bear his bullying and goading because he's only going to bring out a negative reaction in the other HM's, he's an attention *****, he'd do anything for airtime, literally anything. And i don't think i've seen the genuine bear (or this is what i'd like to think because i can't believe anyone would behave like he has). So therefore to me this social experiment has failed because it's been engineered like a fake pair of breasts!

I'm pretty much where you are at with Bear. He is a tosser and must be hell to live with, specially if you fancy some scrambled egg and he just dumped yet another packet of eggs on the floor. However he is entertaining and can be funny. It is also interesting to see how the other housemates have developed due to him and how they handle him.

At the start Sam and Ricky would have been my winners hands down but now I'm lukewarm with Ricky and I don't like how Sam thinks she is better than everyone else and something special. She got her baps out for money and had a couple of hit songs back in the 80s fgs. If the 30 year career was that good she probably wouldn't be in CBB. I don't think a lot of her bitterness and bad attitude would have surfaced if not for Bear. I think how they both respond to bear is a real turn off towards them as people. All this running around in corners whining and eye rolling seems to be all they are doing in the house. Say it to his face or shut up and get on with it. I think Ricky's Guru telling him not to get involved in controversy has lost this CBB for him and he could have romped home as the moral character who stood up to Bear.

Bear is obviously playing a game to cause mayhem and controversy and their vote for him to have eternal nominations has actually backfired because he has absolutely nothing to lose. It he's good or he's bad, he's up anyway. It's a clever game he has been playing and it's working. I found myself disliking Heavy D far more. Bear seems to know when to switch it on and when to let it go but Heavy D had no filter.
