Thanks everyone. I'm not a singer at all, but I'm a bit of an impressionist - sort of - well, loosely copying styles, and that gets me 'through the night'.

Johnny's a bad influence on me -getting me to do Elvis and Johnny Cash and Lord knows who else.

...well, well, well Captain...(you have a very sweet and gentle voice, Kirk..it's easy to see that through the singing..)...this is lovely though, what a team you both are......I love that you've produced something like this together..Kirk you sound great, Johnny you've mixed it all together beautifully and I can't think of a better way to start a day than this.....

Thanks Suze. Actually, she is cutting her teeth, and I am the only one who can get her to sleep EVERY time with the least trouble, and it is by singing to her.

I sing 'The Happy Wanderer' to her first, then a couple of Elvis numbers; 'Big Boots' and 'Angel' - both soft and sweet ballads - then finally, Brahms 'Lullaby' with my own lyrics. It works every time.
