That isnt true though, Trump could get 70% of the vote and still lose

Its the person to get 270 electoral votes, not the person with the most country-wide votes. Clintons looking likely to get 290-300 and Trumps to get 240-250.

There are ~154 clearly Republican places and ~229 clearly democratic places, so Clinton just needs 41 of the 155 undecided votes

I can't forsee getting 70% of the public vote without getting undecided votes

I'm personally worried about after the election, Trump has the Alt Right eating out of his hands and has said that Hillary and the Dems are rigging the election.

The ads I think aren't helping Hillary's case either. I think it feeds the anti-establishment sentiment that's growing in the US

Nah, I'm just saying, getting the most votes is irrelevant, thats not how the president is decided

People need to start taking seriously the very real possibility that Trump is going to win this election. And here's an excellent column by Michael Moore which explains why:

It's the Brexit effect. People are fed up with establishment politics, it's just that unfortunately the people and causes they're choosing to express this disillusion are the wrong ones

From your link, this is going to be a real problem too I think. It's probably part of why he's such a media sensation... so many people hate this current culture and political atmosphere so much that they're so willing to just set off a little TNT so we can tear it all down and start over... using our own system against ourselves

Quote:
5. The Jesse Ventura Effect. Finally, do not discount the electorate’s ability to be mischievous or underestimate how any millions fancy themselves as closet anarchists once they draw the curtain and are all alone in the voting booth. It’s one of the few places left in society where there are no security cameras, no listening devices, no spouses, no kids, no boss, no cops, there’s not even a friggin’ time limit. You can take as long as you need in there and no one can make you do anything. You can push the button and vote a straight party line, or you can write in Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. There are no rules. And because of that, and the anger that so many have toward a broken political system, millions are going to vote for Trump not because they agree with him, not because they like his bigotry or ego, but just because they can. Just because it will upset the apple cart and make mommy and daddy mad. And in the same way like when you’re standing on the edge of Niagara Falls and your mind wonders for a moment what would that feel like to go over that thing, a lot of people are going to love being in the position of puppetmaster and plunking down for Trump just to see what that might look like. Remember back in the ‘90s when the people of Minnesota elected a professional wrestler as their governor? They didn’t do this because they’re stupid or thought that Jesse Ventura was some sort of statesman or political intellectual. They did so just because they could. Minnesota is one of the smartest states in the country. It is also filled with people who have a dark sense of humor — and voting for Ventura was their version of a good practical joke on a sick political system. This is going to happen again with Trump.

The fact it is even a race, shows just how terrible a Presidential Candidate Hilary Clinton is. The Democratic Party establishment got what they wanted though...

Shocked but not totally surprised the race has tightened, they always do, but that its still a close contest. As Leon said its shows how poor a candidate HRC is that she cant pull away from this clown. Dont care if anyone if offended by calling him a clown, look at his recent interviews; he clearly doesnt know what he's talking about but hes very good at driving the interview and not letting the interviewer probe him on substance. HRC has finally decided to do a Presser, after months of dodging, but when she did it was dependant on so many rules set by her team. . She has a very low approval rating but seems to think the establishment, Dems and GOP, not the public will get her elected.

Gary Johnson embarrassed him self the other day by asking 'Whats Aleppo' and Jill Stein has her own problem. This is easily the worst bunch of candidates ever in the history of American presidential elections.

HRC probably needs to deal with her image issues head on but doubtful she will do that and thus the race looks like its still going to be close going into October and November. If HRC loses she only has herself to blame. She should have beaten this bunch of clowns by now.

HRC is seen as establishment pro war and pro corporate elitist take overs with the likes of NAFTA and TTIP...He is seen , at least by his fans as a pro small business, pro white collar workers, rebellious anti-establishment figure. This is the main reason why hes come this far...

Anyone that thinks Trump winning is even a possibility is crazy. To be fair though I said the same thing about Brexit...
