That story is quite a damning indictment if I ever saw one, though I did some searching on Twitter last night and it turns out (amongst their rabid fans making apologies for domestic violence) that she was ~apparently~ quite controlling, didn't want him going out or hugging fans, posted explicit photos of him on social media, threatened to kill herself if they split up, etc etc - so it seems it was a bit of an abusive relationship all round. I'm not sure how they can shy away from something like this though, it's a pretty serious allegation.

It's worth pointing out that if they are removed then unless the producers want two acts in the final for the first time in ten years then mathematically speaking someone will have to return, my guess would be Yes Lad although I'd prefer Four of Diamonds.

His ex has posted on facebook that it's all a bunch of lies fabricated by her friends to sell to the papers, he apparently did hit her, but it was an accident when she got between him and a guy he was fighting.
