My mother gave me Disney sing-a-long tapes and tapes with stories on them, so I guess that counts. Most were the popular cast at the time (in the 90's), but I had some Chipmunk ones too...

'It was a blustery day in the hundred acre wood, and whinnie the pooh was sitting in his thoughtful spot. This was his special spot for sitting and thinking.'

I don't remember anymore. But this was like every night and I always have a clear vision in my head of my dad saying these words Apparently they stopped reading to me when I was like 5 too..so weird that I remember this. My dad remembers the first 6 pages of the book

My daughters favourite was........

A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood,
A fox saw the mouse and the mouse looked good.
“Where are you going too little brown mouse?”
“Come and have lunch in my underground house!”
“It’s terribly kind of you fox but no,”
“I’m going to have lunch with a Gruffalo!”
