Meaningless because at the time ITV were the kings of Saturday evening family telly . You've Been Framed, Bline-D-Date, Gladiators AWOOGAH... BBC didn't stand a chance against that line-up.

Same here I don't think he would show as much bias as other BB presenters have in interviews, because I don't think he will be that woried who goes or who wins, and is likely to press them on stuff rather than skim over things we want answers to. He would take no prisoners.

Emma is an OK host but a terrible interviewer. She's not suited to that part of the job at all, never has been.

This tbh

I don't think I agree with what some people are saying about the show needing her to survive, even if she's credible and people like her, does anyone watch BB because of Emma? I think it would go seriously down hill if Rylan took over but if Emma left and they replaced her with a competent presenter (and interviewer) then I honestly don't think the show would suffer at all.

The problem isn't necessarily Emma herself, but can you see anybody competent and with a good public profile being interested in this dead show if she left?

Definitely not but someone new who isn't a big name (but still competent), I really don't think the show rests on the presenter being a big name at all, I mean most episodes don't even feature them and the ones that do, the draw to the audience is seeing who gets evicted. Both Davina and Emma built their careers after taking on BB, neither of them were big names beforehand.

Oh I don't think it rests on them being a big name but let's be honest the show is dead in the water and has been for a while (hence all of the desperate gimmicks).

People like Davina and Emma (known prior to BB) being faces of the show certainly helps promotion. Lose them and the show loses one of its few life supports and sinks further.

Emma is literally the last thing keeping this show even the tiniest bit relevant.

Replace her with Rylan or some other no-hoper and it would be akin to switching off the show's life support.
