Yeah I actually met someone who I knew for a while from playing video games with online because he was traveling in the area. But I was also with 2 of my friends that also knew him about as much as I did. It was a one time thing and we just chilled for like a few hours. It was a pretty interesting experience though. I remember one of my friends was really sketched out that he was going to kill us or something but idk why. I think it's just as likely that some random person on the street kills you than someone you become friends with online.

I would meet up with someone, but only after I'd talked with them for a good while. I'd never reveal where I lived and would meet in a public place the first time. What really scares me is the amount of single mothers who meet someone online and move that person in with them and their kids, before they have really got to know what they are like.
