so the first episode tonight was STELLAR and the second episode already had a Flo Flashback for the TAR3 Switchback so this season stays amazing!

20 minutes into the penultimate episode and Brooke continues to be the best casting choice in *YEARS*

"Oh no Scott! You did it wrong already" "Why?" "Because they're laughing at you so you did it wrong "

I'd be totally content with another random strangers paired up season again, I think? This season's fantastic and as skeptical as I initially was about the twist, I think one good thing is that it's forcing the editing team to focus on the relationships between teammates and not just pigeonholing people into their slots by occupation ("the cowboys" or "the Globetrotters" or "the snowboarders" or "the boarder patrol agents" et cetera et cetera)

I haven't really enjoyed a season of TAR fully since 26 (the Blind Date season) if I'm being completely honest, I feel like the casting choices have become blander and duller every year. They need to find more modern-day gems again like Shelley & Nici, Blair & Hayley etc. that are both entertaining and rootable, and can last long enough to ensure the season quality does not suck.

I 100% agree with this. I give each season a shot but haven't finished a season since the blind date season.

My favorite part about the second episode was that literally the only thing Brooke had to do was bike through Vietnam and it led to **** like this

k so after Tara and Joey being awful in Leg 9 re: Brooke and Scot and now Tara and Joey being awful this leg re: video games I am definitely *NOT* a fan. At least we have Brooke and Scott AND LoLo in the final leg so there's a 67% chance we get great winners :3

Tara & Joey were vile at that final Roadblock, Joey especially. I get that it's the pressure of the whole environment, but they wouldn't have reacted to that if the task had been almost *anything* other than a video game (Also, I found Tara's comment about being too busy being in the army to play video games quite amusing, given every male in South Korea has to do 1 year mandatory military service).

Brooke winning Wasn't that fussed about Scott but I guess he was the cause of most of Brooke's meltdowns so <3

I still think the season was pretty underwhelming but they're definitely one of my favourite winning teams.
