If it's happening it'd take part or watch. It seems fun.

OK, so most FMs agree with it, so does Red. So, do you think I should start the auditions?

Sorry I'm still to be convinced. For the following reasons:

The idea needs more thought and research it has to be success.

I need a lot more detail in how it will work (i.e. rules etc)

I don't like the addition idea on the grounds it will mean the person choosing the could be persuaded to pick their friends - and it doesn't matter how fair someone says they will be I won't believe them unless one of admin team (mark, james or kaz) are involved in the process.
And there are other factors such as start date would have to be after BB8 has finished and given the timing of peoples holidays it would end up starting in September.

I think the idea has potential but it needs working on and all the tasks, rules etc. need to be sorted out in advance and not during the running of the game.

OK, but where do I do my research? I haven't heard of another version so could you post a link here please?
I have planned it to start on July 6th, ending on September 7th (3 days after I start school). So the schedule will be fine, even if it clashes with the last 4-6 weeks of BB8.
I will start posting ideas and the basis.

Thanks for taking my points on board.

If you ask James in a U2U I'm sure he might remember where he has seen it done before. You could take the good points and improve their idea.

But there is one big problem it won't happen while BB8 is on. The place is a BB forum before anything else.

Default The Format

Here is the simple format for the show, which will hopefully last for 9 weeks:

In Week 1, the 10 candidates are given a trial run with each other, given one long group task. For the first 3 days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), I will interview the candidates to get to know them more (because they are randomly selected), and when the whole group gets to bond and know each other. Then, on Monday, the group must devise their own business (3 in total), and choose how much it is, etc... So it is very simple. Then, on Friday, based on skills, I will choose who should be in which team, naming them.
For Weeks 2 to 8, one person will be fired from the show permenately every Friday at 9.30pm. Each task will be different. Some composing of 3 to 5 mini tasks, interviews and meetings with clients (people who will order a certain number of each teams products to sell to the public), and the team with the most profit wins, getting a treat. The team who loses will face a vote, the 2 with the most votes will go to the Boardroom with the PM, and the mods (James and Mark), will decide who gets fired.
Also, a candidate who walks/quits may only do so after Week 1, and he or she may be replaced by a volunteer, but won't be "exempt" from being fired like in BB. People who break the rules will be automatically fired on a Friday, with no one else being fired.

To determine who buys what, members will U2U what they want to buy to confirm, and post what they are buying in the Market Place. Clients will order them in shops, the buyers will buy them from there.

The start date will be revealed when BB8's ending date is revealed, and people are only required to be online between 7.00pm and late.

All the main mods are completely ignoring my U2Us! Could someone please U2U James to ask him if The Apprentice is allowed, because if I do, I am worried he will get angry!

It took a while for the TiBB BB announcement, they'll be discussing down to every detail.

Sorry for any delay, as Markus said we are discussing every detail and it's impact on the forum.

As you can appreciate we only have limited time and when people on the board kick off our main attention turns to policing the forum.

A bit like Red I am not opposed to it entirely but I feel there could be a few problems if a real plan is not in place.

How about you do a full show plan and send it via U2U to all the Admin and Mods. I know you have outlined it on here but it is all running in together and it's difficult to go backwards and forwards to see what would happen when.

Do it in a Step 1, 2, 3 etc format for us please.

The things I would personally like to know are:

Who would choose contestants?
Who would give out tasks
How would we know the decision making is fair if only one person is doing it?
How easy/complicated will it be to follow?
How many threads will it take up?
How much time would contestants be expected to commit to the "show"?
Who will set the rules of the "show" and what will they be?

Thats just a few for starters
