By culture I assumed she meant Nigerian culture rather than just black culture in general? Either way so what? What's so bad about her being proud of her culture?

I thought It was a positive thing
She was pretty much just saying she's not in it for the money she's in it to show her culture in a positive light because it hasn't been done on tbis show before

How is it arrogant that she wants to share a culture she's proud to have? The word you're looking for is confident

she is there for the money though, she confirmed herself she would be happy to leave early on if she was offered cash..so lets not try and paint her as something she isn't that said I would be happy with her winning..

Or they can share their opinion, just like you are!

But it is a silly thread imo. They haven't "used the race card" since before fight night - they havent used it for 30+ days (I could be wrong, but if they did use the race card since 1. Does it really matter? 2. It was clearly irrelevant enough to not cause a fuss the first time)

I just like how the main problem here is that two women are proud of where they've come from, what they've achieved, and their culture. If you want to focus your efforts into being angry about that, that's fine, but there's worse issues at hand

I've been asking the same question all series, you're not going to get an answer now

(hint: because there is none).

I for one feel them trying to represent their culture quite admirable. Especially on a show like BB.

No negative agenda can be twisted from it IMO.

There are sadly still many ignorant toss pots that judge a person based on their sexuality/race/religion.

The sisters coming onto a show like BB, that has a large viewership of younger people and teens - helps to create conversation and educate those previously unaware.

What awareness are they raising ? Why do they feel they are so special that they will change anyones minds on things ,I find it very arrogant to think you are that special

If a white women went in preaching about white culture this place would be in meltdown calling her a racist ...Double standards

Um because BAME people are severely underrepresented in the media and white people have been running and oppressing things for centuries.

Not much at all is known about the Nigerian culture here, thats why it would have no effect if some white woman entered the house preaching about culture, the majority of us already know our own culture and as do the rest of Brits that are subjected to it everyday. Therefore her being on the show can promote the nigerian culture, its not at all double standards. Often people in the majority can fail to see what its like for minorities because they have it so great.

If anyone is interested enough in Nigeria culture and its people Google is a very good tool ,I and others don't need it rammed down our necks on a reality tv show
