Sarah is also obviously very sensitive to it by her breakdown over people calling her fragile so that's why Paul saw it as doubly offensive

I also feel we are missing a LOT of whats actually going on. I seriously doubt that it was just the one pill comment then the rage.

Exactly...he knew how it would look. I strongly believe BB told him to apologise because he changed his tune very quickly in the DR. It was obviously cut in what was probably a longer discussion whilst he cooled down.
Paul is a classic back peddler when he realises how he will be conceived...hence all his fake apologies.

I really don't think its this...else he would be 'behaving himself' more than he is in the first place if he was thinking about how hes coming across. I think BB told him to apologize...maybe during a warning. The DR chat was cut to ribbons.

Yeah he does a lot of apologising - thinking its ok to fly at others and a quick apology will suffice is really not on.

I think he was overly aggressive in his reaction and it wasn't pleasant, but I can understand why he reacted as he did. In the conversation where Sarah mentioned his 'meds' she was definitely gossiping and implying more than she said, and that it what the other housemates picked up on. Why did she choose the word 'meds' when it was actually a headache tablet? She chose that word for a reason.

In my opinion Sarah is bringing a lot of negativity on herself, hence the 8 nominations, and the reasons given for them.

I remember seeing Paul acting intoxicated/drugged and having to be helped to bed a few nights back. I assumed he was pissed, not realising then he's on the wagon. There was a general conversation about this in the living room, and Sarah said something like she knew he wasn't drunk and thought he must have taken a med. In case you don't understand this word, a "med" it is something prescribed by a doctor to treat a condition. Sarahs choice of this word demonstrates she was not trying to imply Paul is a druggie. It was s**t stirrer Brandi who changed the word from med to pill.

Well no...a handful of members will actually admit when their fave does something wrong. Not many mind, but some. It annoys me how many wull blindly defend faves sometimes..as I find it a little silly. Admitting your fave has flaws and (shock horror) is human does not mean you can't support them anymore

Paul even admitted BB had given him paracetamol and ibuprofen, if he's not sleeping well they could certainly cause him to stagger about...also a lot of us have noticed his staggered speech during the day.

Paracetamol and Ibuprofen would not make anyone stagger or slur their words.

I don't mean taking them would, I just mean if he's tired and asked for medicine to cure it its definately possible he could have been struggling in some capacity to sleep and become a bit disorientated.

Yes it was shown,they were moaning in the bedroom about the lights being on ,he didn't stagger all over the place as Sarah claimed he did

What, paracetamol and ibuprofen?! Could make him stagger about?

Nah..I doubt it. I think he is on a cocktail of meds (pretty much like myself as I get like that sometimes with my prescribed drugs) and I think this is why he went so OTT when meds were mentioned tbh. It will be a sore spot for him...as noone really wants the world knowing how medicated they are. I have snapped before when people make little digs...for example 'oh go take your ****ing morphine and cheer up' or something.

Not exusing what he did or anything, just explaining from my point of view


Edit. I think I misread this post..you meant the not sleeping properly could make him stagger didn't you? Yes, definitely given I have just read your answer to someone else that clarifys this. Sorry.I should read the whole thread before posting lol
