But Sarah Harding, 35, is now facing speculation that she's single once again, after her American beau, 30, deleted all traces of her from his Instagram account.

And while the pair still follow each other on the photo-sharing app, a source told The Sun of the pair, who live thousands of miles apart, with him in Los Angeles and her in the UK: 'Things are hard – they’re so far apart, and there’s the time difference too.

'When they do speak things are tense – she’s worried he could be using the relationship for fame, he’s talked about ending the relationship a couple of times – it’s really difficult. Things are hanging by a thread right now.'

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Sarah and Chad for comment.

Former Girls Aloud star Sarah hinted that things weren't exactly perfect between the pair earlier this month, when she revealed that Chad had returned to California.

And her revelation came shortly after it was revealed that he was using dating app Bumble, despite the new couple claiming they were in love with one another.

I find this hard to believe, I don't think that came from Sarah at all. He has moved country, gone back to doing what he was doing before CBB and hasn't given any interviews. That's the complete opposite of "using relationship for fame". If he was going around doing interviews and talking about her, fine, but he has not even appeared in the media at all. So, that's a bunch of rubbish.

He couldn't be further from "using it for fame". First of all, he hasn't even spoken about her or CBB in like 2 weeks He's doing what he was doing before, he's back at work etc...

Would be pretty difficult being so far away. I'd find it hard.

But you would be in a real relationship, not planning on ending once a Reality TV Show stint has finished.
