I do agree that the money side plays a big part in it
If they chucked Ann in aswell her fans will vote to save her, a couple India haters maybe but that's it
Johnny would get few votes and India fans wouldn't try as hard to save her

When it's H2H both sides feel like they're in with a better chance and will vote more

I think it's because Ann had the 3rd highest and they didn't want to risk her going.

Definitely decided last minute otherwise Emma would have announced the results rather than saying Big Brother would announce them shortly, then announcing them more or less straight away

Maybe it is this..there was some definite manipulation going on behind the scenes as Emma was keeping count of the noms and if it was a predecided decision (ie. two or more with most votes, not the actual people up) then Emma could have said it. That we had to wait for BB to 'confirm'...and that it took so long for this confirmation.. kind of says to me that there were frantic talks based on who had votes.

They were probably thinking Ann and India would easily receive the most, then to avoid that head-to-head we'll just put everyone who received a nom. Don't think they were expecting Jonny to get so many

It was India that got all those votes and she would probably have had more if the others with those feeble votes had voted how they really felt .

I always thought it was a certain % of the votes get nominated (thought this was set). So if the votes are closer and spread out there were more noms and if the votes were mainly on the same people there would only be a few (or 2) noms.

Nobody is forcing the public to vote one way or another, so it just can't be described as manipulation. BB didn't force the housemates to nominate India. The only manipulation BB can do is to mess with the nominations process to stop someone being evicted, its the public that vote
