Yes, losing India meant that we're now subjected to Ashleuwine (which is always a bad plan b) and whatever Andrew thinks he's doing and the gender theme could easily fall flat. Fortunately, we have Ann to keep the conflicts brewing. Rachel, Malika, Shane J, Wayne and Amanda all contribute to the drama/comic relief this series. The tasks are on point. As Niamh said, the plot evolves organically.

Things slow down, but it's only natural. It's still a good series and there are few weeks to go.

hang on winter, till next week with ashley's eviction and then everything goes back to the great series we had before their showmance

It was never that good to begin with, the first 4 days were alright but I never understood people saying it was the best series ever!!! when even CBB19 had a better first week imo

Then when people evicted India who was the only interesting housemate it went to trash. I do find it funny when I see people who voted to save Jonny complain that the series is boring though

Oh yeah, I know. I was just replying to the part where Tom was asking if there were any other series that started off promising at first but then lost steam as it went on.

In fact I'm happy they haven't pushed the panic button this series and continued to let things play out naturally, despite the low ratings. Sure it can be uneventful at times, but I'd take that over a convoluted shambles of a series any day.

It definitely happened to bb16 which was pretty great on its first week then went awful it's happened quite a lot of times in different series

Then again I'm still loving this series

Agreed, I think this series started really strong then slacked off a bit for a few days but then the last few episodes have been really good viewing imo. I think C5 have actually done most things right as well. It's obviously not the type of series that draws people in though judging by the ratings

Problem is that people have become adjusted to “explosive” starts to a series. This is the first series in a while (apart from CBB20 but that was crap) where it’s taken longer for things to heat up but (imo) it’s been a nice change
