Well at least they understand it and adopt their language according to the situation.

I was friends with someone up to the age of 18 who would still adopt a "baby voice" when he would try to get round his mum. It was EXCEPTIONALLY creepy to witness.

Its ok folks. I just created the thread because I found it strange adult daughters sitting on Johns lap. Everyone has their own opinions on it some find it fine. Thats what forums are about but we must just respect we are all different in our views

Not really tbh. My sister still sits on my dads knee (usually when shes arselicking to get something ) and I will sit cuddled up to him sometimes. I think its nice that even when the kids are adults they still have a close relationship with their dads tbh
