He can be whoever he wants for his final interview and he went into the house as Courtney anyway.
Whether he decides to leave as Shane J or Courtney is entirely his decision,no one elses.

Emma and Rylan have to interview him no matter the identity he chooses.
It's ridiculous to infer one or both should not and only interview him as Shane.

Really odd that there is even an issue as to him becoming Courtney.

...yeah I haven’t really had much observations of drag queens beyond the stage act and as Shane has done in becoming Courtney to just ‘mingle’, type thing...and it has been interesting to see how some of the housemates who have come to know him in the house, as Shane J..have seemed also to see him as two people because he does look so different...

My take on it is he thinks he is more popular as Courtney than when he is Shane.

He has said himself that his personal life has not been as he wanted and has taken many knockbacks. His self esteem, starts and ends with Courtney.

Perhaps he might get to think after CBB ends, it is not only his choosing men who are straight but his obsession about speaking about gay rights constantly which can bore his love interests right out of the door.
