Just because she’s an interviewer why would she have any idea about her cat dying? Has Ann publicly stated that her cat had died before hand, or released an article on it?

The producers were aware...making emma aware would be in the remit....emma ****ed up badly..her worst ever night on bb....

Ann didn't seem at all bothered by the slip up. Don't know why the media is trying to make such a big issue of it? It's not really news at all.

How would she know she had cats is the question really, if they are dead I doubt Ann would have talking about them in glowing living terms during her pre house assessments

Why do people think that Emma should know the state of Ann's cat? She barely knows the state of the housemates inside the house...

actually, she brought the subject up not Ann, and a good presenter makes sure they know what they are presenting. How can she have a dialog and interaction if she is not familiar with the subject matter. Don't blame the researchers

She knew she has/had cats as part of her "living alone" story. This information might have slipped away. She didn't do a doctorate on Ann's life and it wasn't even the main subject of her question.
Not sure why people make such a big deal of it - she said it, proved wrong, sort of apologized - moving on. Ann didn't look too bothered any way, she's a tough lady...

Emma is at best a 3rd rate interviewer, let's not pretend she is anything else and it showed up clearly again tonight. I like emma, but she is not an interviewer.

I think Rylan has improved a lot while Emma has not improved at all, Rylan is far more professional as well

I didn't care about the cat comment so much as it was water off a ducks back, what annoyed me was Emma pushing that Ann must be terribly lonely, what was all that about
