It had a couple of slow seasons in the middle, but I liked it again when they moved to Metropolis (and it was basically just Superman except he couldn't fly). The final season was a bit of a letdown, though.

I remember when that used to come on channel 5 repeated at like 3 in the morning in 2004.

Me and my mate would have a sleepover, drinking and piss ourselves laughing at that.

The way characters would stand talking to themselves in a room so the audience knew what they were thinking and could understand basic plot developments.

There was an evil twin plotline, a ship that capsized like The Poseidon Adventure (with the worst CGI in history) and also, cursed rubies that turned people into zombies. It had a woman who drugged another woman and inseminated her with a turkey baster full of a random guy's sperm, because she wanted to steal her boyfriend.

It was the best show there has been or ever shall be .
