I'm with you on this. We don't want nor need them, they're massively overrated and we already have The Beatles, The Stones and Led Zep, whom U2 could only dream of being.

I never said they were Irish although Shane has a very strong Irish heritage and plays a sort of celtic punk sound so that's more understandable, he clearly has Irish ties and family atleast
