Chill guys.

Why would they release info on a series that isn't starting until another 8ish weeks? I'd expect news in around 4 weeks time, no earlier. They don't even promote BGT or X Factor this far in advance.

think of it this way, it will launch around the same time as X Factor... any promos for them yet?

Yes. The XF twitter and YouTube have been uploading 'best of' videos recently, and have been making funny videos for twitter etc. BB is literally dead

Love Island was promoted for a good 8 weeks though and look how that turned out for ITV2.

Remember how they got a lot of ex-Housemates together for the (supposed) last ever series of Big Brother for a lowkey iconic ad back in 2010

8 years later and this is possibly the last series of BBUK (at least for like. a few years) and the only promo we'll get is 2 days before, with a 30 second advert of Rylan screaming "HIT IT MARCUS" as he struts in high heels to BB's wake.

The show isn't launching until August... In a typical series we don't even know the launch date until a week or two prior... How is the lack of news or info "depressing"? Seems to me you're just whining because you don't want to wait...
