3 lions are selling way ahead of George Ezra now and with it being #1 on YT it will hopefully be #1

All though they set up a rule last week to prevent it happening

So basically streaming is 150= 1 song but if the song has starting selling less physical copies by weak 10 that doubles.

But last week with the introduction of YT to the charts they decided that Song which are older then 3 years can not come off ACR which is 300 steams = 1 song which with streaming basically having a major hold on the chart it would need to be topping streaming and sales


Right now i think George Ezra will get a 3rd week at #1 depending on the amount of sales on 3 Lions

But yea Vicky they like to dictate songs which do well and hate Xmas songs taking up the charts so also want to stop old Xmas songs entering

It's so incompetently ran and overly complicated I don't think anybody can properly understand it. Especially when the rules change depending on what they deem "acceptable" to enter the charts.

Hmm but before streaming was included, people moaned that the charts being on sales was silly as everyone just streams these days

Well that was only really from 2014 onwards, the chart was originally a sales chart, now it’s a popularity chart that doesn’t really reflect what’s popular, because artists have bought places on the most popular streaming playlists

Imo the best way for streaming to be included is if it’s only a song that someone has searched for and played as apposed to it being on a playlist of popular songs
