Battle Royale can be played without Plus as far as I know
Edit: it seems save the world doesn't either, that's pretty sound

really? a free to play multiplayer game that doesn’t require plus? still no idea whether i like it but that’s a pretty good deal.

I can see the Co-op PVE mode being fun IF you have friends to play it with. Not so much with randoms. I'm not getting it until its free / full release though.

What even is Save the World btw? I've never tried it or seen anything for it, I just go straight to battle royale every time. Even before I got into Fortnite, battle royale was all I ever saw or heard about.

It's the story mode of Fortnite pretty much, you can team up with up to 3 other players building and defending bases against these weird monster alien things. You collect schematics of different weapons and different heroes who all have different classes. You also get vbucks thrown at you, like I get 100 bucks each time I do a main story mission. There's also a ton of side quests and daily quests that throw them out too. I honestly wasn't expecting much when I picked up the standard version on sale recently but I'm really enjoying it. It's a grind but a good one! It's going to be free this year apparently but I'm glad I bought it.

It was originally the entire game of Fortnite... like that was the original concept... until PUBG became huge and Fortnite jumped on the bandwagon by adding the Battle Royale mode... and then it totally blew up and they realised it was worth a fortune and turned most of their attention to that.
